Central East Region is a geographic location consisting of; Region of Durham Region of York Simcoe County Haliburton, Kawartha, & Pine Ridge Regions City of kawartha Lakes Northumberland County Peterborough Haliburton County Central East Region Developmental Services Regional Planning Committee The Central East Region Developmental services Regional Planning Committee was established in 2001/2002 to provide advice to MCSS Central East Regional Office towards implementation of the Five-Year Multi-Year Plan announced in May 2001. The Committee is comprised of a network of ministry-funded agencies delivering services to individualswith developmental disabilitiesin Central East Region. The committee continues to fulfill a planning function, to assist the regional office in implementing a number of initiativesand promote and develop a regional network of services.
